Postdoctoral Fellow (m/f/d)

in organic synthesis, spectroscopy and microscopy (recent publications: Roßmann et al., ACIEE 2024; Roßmann et al., Chem. Sci 2022; Birke et al., Org. Biomol. Chem. 2022). The position is funded by an ERC Starting Grant and focusses on novel imaging applications in primary cells and tissue with minimal biomolecule labelling intervention to study drug uptake and metabolism in health and disease. 

The anticipated starting date is March 2025 and is initially limited to 2 years. 

Your profile:

We seek highly motivated, ambitious, and talented young scientists to join an enthusiastic and collaborative team in an outstanding scientific environment. Successful postdoc applicants will hold a Ph.D. in a relevant area (e.g. chemistry, physics, cell biology) and have a strong track record of accomplishment. Postdoc candidates with proven experience in microscopical imaging techniques (e.g. confocal light microscopy, STED, STORM, Raman spectroscopy) and an interest in building and establishing a new microscopic technique at the FMP are especially encouraged to apply. All applicants are expected to benefit from excellent written and oral communication skills and display a high personal motivation to excel in science. The working language is English.
